Pringles are gearing up to launch two new flavours that pay tribute to some of the dishes we’ve been missing since overseas travel was nixed.
The limited-edition flavours form part of their ‘Pringles Passport’ range, and include the rather bold-sounding New York Style Cheeseburger and Sichuan Style Kung Pao Chicken.
If you thought the iconic brand’s “once you pop you can’t stop” tagline was catchy, the slogan for the Passport range won’t disappoint — “take a trip with every chip”.
The New York Style Cheeseburger flavour “tastes just like the juicy cheeseburger of your dreams!” according to the brand, while the Sichuan Style Spicy Chicken tastes like “a sizzling Sichuan stir-fry made with mouth-watering Chinese spices!”
It will be the first new flavour release for the brand since they debuted their fresh, new look earlier this month, after two years of experimenting.
The new Pringles packaging features bright new hues and a more clean, eye-popping design.
Even Pringle’s moustached icon ‘Mr P’ was given a makeover, reemerging without his full head of hair.
The temporary Pringles Passport range is available for a limited run at Coles, Woolworths and independents supermarkets from February 22, retailing for $3.99.
