McDonald’s announced it is introducing a new McFlurry flavor, which is coming to stores on May 3.
The new flavor, the Caramel Brownie McFlurry, features the fast food restaurant’s “creamy vanilla soft serve made with real dairy, with brownie pieces and caramel topping blended throughout.”
“Don’t worry if it sounds too good to be true, we wouldn’t tease you like that,” McDonald’s said in a statement.
The new McFlurry was first introduced in Canada in 2017, which is also the birthplace of the McFlurry. It will be introduced to customers in the United States on National Caramel Day, “a totally-made-up-national-food-holiday,” McDonald’s said.
“The flavors in our new Caramel Brownie McFlurry are inspired by that first-warm-day-of-the-year feeling,” said McDonald’s senior director of culinary, Chad Schafer. “The cool and creamy soft serve mixed with fudgy brownie pieces and sweet, gooey caramel makes every refreshing bite worth savoring.”
Other current McFlurry options include classic Oreo and M&M’s.
