The flavour will be available from March a 750ml bottle retailing at £1.15 and a 1.5-litre bottle retailing at £1.
The launch will be supported by a £2.1m investment across the entire Touch of Fruit portfolio.
Volvic said the flavour is on trend and that “top British supermarkets” reported a 350% increase in people searching online for rhubarb products in 2018.
Maria-Tzina Leria, Volvic brand manager, said: “We know more than ever that consumers are aware of their sugar intake and actively trying to reduce it where possible, seeking better options.
“We see huge growth potential for retailers in the sugar free soft drinks space, for example last year saw a 21% value increase, and largely driven by our Watermelon variant which due to its success became a permanent fixture in our Touch of Fruit sugar free range.”
