Pepsi Max Raspberry will be available from March in a 330ml can (67p), a 500ml price-marked bottle (£1.39), a 600ml bottle (£1.39), a 1.5-litre bottle (£1.09), and a 2-litre bottle (£2.29). The variant will join existing cherry and ginger flavours.
The launch will be supported by out-of-home and TV advertising, as well as sampling campaigns and in-store activations taking place over the course of this year.
Pepsi Max said the Max flavours range is a “key part” of the Pepsi portfolio as the cherry and ginger flavours have generated £80.5m is sales since their launch.
It said it is growing at 25% in value sales year on year and 61% of consumers chose the brand over the best-selling cola during its Taste Challenge during summer 2018.
Trystan Farnworth, commercial director for convenience and impulse at Britvic, said: “Our ginger and cherry variants have already proved incredibly popular since their launch, with Pepsi Max Cherry being the number one flavoured cola.
“Pepsi Max delivers on all three category drivers; taste, health and relevance, and the launch of the new flavour will also deliver against these, helping retailers to continue to drive growth within the category.”
