Scottish craft distillery Old Curiosity has released a new range of herbal teas in collaboration with fellow Edinburgh brand, Pekoe Tea. The new range is inspired by three of the distillery’s popular Secret Herb Garden Gins.

The G&Tea herbal tea range uses the same botanicals as each of three chosen gins, Lemon Verbena, Apothecary Rose and Lavender, and blends them with ethically sourced Ceylon Tea.

Grown at The Secret Herb Garden on the outskirts of Edinburgh, gin botanicals including Juniper, Coriander, Winter Savoury and Angelica bring each tea to life with the flavours from the Old Curiosity gin range.

Each box of hand-picked and dried tea comes with an organic cotton reusable tea bag so you can enjoy the loose-leaf tea with the ease of a tea bag but better for the environment.

As they’re inspired by the distillery’s gins, you can make charming gift sets matching each tea to its ‘ginspiration’.

Hamish Martin, Director at the Old Curiosity Distillery, said in the press release: “It has been a pleasure working with Pekoe Tea to develop this new G&Tea range, which use all of the same botanicals that you would find in our range of Old Curiosity gins, then blended with Ceylon Tea to create this deliciously refreshing drink.

“Each of our leading flavours, Lemon Verbena, Apothecary Rose and Lavender, are dried in full leaf before being added to the blend which captures the very best flavour.”

A perfect treat for gin lovers and tea lovers.
